Somebody has to ask about the cookies.
5 of these are ours and do jobs you asked for: keeping you signed in, remembering whether you wanted the lights on, remembering which services you were looking at, and remembering your answer to this question so it stops turning up.
2 are Google's, and they are the reason there is a real question here. They let us count how many people read this page and how many end up with the thing working — our funnel, not your users. Say no and they are never set.
Nothing here follows you around the rest of the web, nothing is sold, and the thing we actually sell still sets no cookies at all in your users' browsers. That part has not changed and is not going to.
