Both start with a 7-day trial, and the trial has no app limit whichever you pick — instrument everything, decide after. Cancel before it ends and you are not charged. Prices are shown in euros and charged in dollars where that is your local currency; Stripe picks at checkout.
What counts as an app
A name, not a deployment. checkout-api in production, in staging, and on a preview branch is one app — instrumenting your staging environment is the behaviour we want to encourage, so it is not something to charge for.
If you go over
Nothing breaks. A Solo account that starts reporting a second app keeps working — no telemetry is refused, nothing is hidden — and we say so in the app until you move up or drop one. A monitoring tool that goes quiet the moment you add a service would fail exactly when you most need it.
